Third-Party Fundraisers

Regional One Health Foundation is extremely grateful for the generosity of so many people and organizations in the community. Frequently, people spend their own time and money to organize a fundraiser to benefit Regional One Health. These fundraisers include everything from Sarah Hall Radio Ministries Gospel Extravaganza and local churches knitting blankets for tiny newborns to the Firefighter’s Mixed Bowling League raising money for the Burn Center.

For Stephanie Singley, watching the trauma team at Regional One Health save her mother’s life encouraged her to champion Regional One Health’s cause. “At my two stores, Bella Vita and Itty Bitty Bella in Collierville, we have always been eager to give back to the community,” Stephanie explains. “My heart is connected to Regional One Health now, and I want to impact this vital organization in the way it has impacted me.”

Each year, Stephanie hosts a fundraising event at Bella Vita that features the work of local chefs and artists. “Once artists heard that I intended to give 10 percent of the proceeds to Regional One Health, they wanted to contribute as well. So, they doubled my contribution,” Stephanie says with an enthusiastic laugh. “That made for a total of 20 percent of the proceeds that went to Regional One Health.

Baby Clothes Closet

Babies can’t get far in their birthday suits. That’s why the Baby Clothes Closet at the Sheldon B. Korones Newborn Center at Regional Medical Center is so important for newborns who are ready to go home, but lack basic clothing and infant necessities.

Generous supporters help stock the Baby Clothes Closet with new infant and preemie items donated from individuals, corporations and local churches.
