ONE Club volunteers helped employees stay in the game earlier this month at their Tailgating with Turner event, which featured delicious BBQ nachos, Memphis Tigers blue-and-white cupcakes and take-home pompoms and can koozies.

Turner Tower employees enjoy BBQ nachos courtesy of the ONE Club women’s auxiliary group.

Part of the ONE Club women’s auxiliary group’s mission is to support Regional One Health employees by honoring them for their hard work and dedication and giving them a chance to take a break and connect with their colleagues.

The organization hosts events throughout the year, reaching out to different parts of the hospital and clinic system to make sure that all employees are being recognized.

ONE Club members include women from across the Mid-South using their talents to support employees and patients and strengthen the Regional One Health system.

Volunteer activities include providing tours of Regional One Health Centers of Excellence, hosting dinners to bring together world-renowned doctors and potential donors, supplying the Labor and Delivery waiting room with toys and books, supporting the ONE Night gala fundraiser, and rocking babies in the NICU.

ONE Club volunteers gave out pompoms and can koozies during their Tailgating with Turner event.

ONE Club volunteers also serve as ambassadors for Regional One Health within their own circles of influence throughout the community, such as schools, work and places of worship.

The organization is open to 100 women who are able to attend at least three meetings per year and complete 10 service hours annually through various activities.

Spots are currently available for women who are interested in joining the organization.
