We’re passionate about supporting Regional One Health’s mission to improve the health and well-being of our community by providing compassionate care and exceptional healthcare services. We’re diligent in our work to ensure every dollar raised takes us one step closer to realizing our vision of a modern academic medical center committed to delivering world-class patient care, right here in Memphis.

Tammie has served as the Executive Director of the Regional One Health Foundation since 2004. She has more than 15 years of philanthropic experience. 

Tammie is often seen walking the halls of the hospital visiting with our clinical teams, meeting with patients and families and seeing how we can better meet their needs. She stays current on innovative medical solutions and healthcare trends, as well as healthcare philanthropy to identify opportunities to make our organization stronger.

No two days are the same for Tammie. In her role, she serves as a relationship manager by connecting philanthropists to programs, causes, clinical leaders and others who can fulfill their desire to change healthcare and positively impact the lives of others. Tammie also connects physicians, researchers, nurses and innovative industry leaders to the philanthropists who can support their efforts to save more lives, to improve patient outcomes, to keep their patients healthy, and to prevent devastating illnesses and injuries.

Tammie is a proud native Memphian. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive, an internationally recognized designation for philanthropic fundraising executives. Tammie is a member of the Memphis Downtown Rotary Club, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy and the Health Management Academy. She is also a member of Greater Community Temple, Church of God in Christ.

Marsha began her career at Regional One Health in the early 70’s as an administrative assistant to the Treasurer of the Hospital Authority. When she moved to the Foundation side in 2001, she began as Executive Secretary and continued to move up the ranks to her current role as Manager of Foundation Operations.

Marsha enjoys working with people who share her passion for the mission of Regional One Health Foundation. In her role, Marsha is responsible for tracking donations, fund balances and donor prospects. Marsha cultivates and maintains relationships with Foundation donors; coordinates campaign drives, special benefit events and promotions on behalf of the Foundation; and serves as the liaison with hospital staff and special constituent groups, such as Elvis Presley fans and the Memphis Firefighters.

Marsha is from Drummonds, Tennessee. She has a son, Ernest, and a grandson, Ethan. Marsha is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, and St. Mark M. B. Church in Drummonds, Tennessee. She obtained an associate degree from Southwest Tennessee, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis and master’s degree in human resource management from Webster University while continuing to work full-time.

Sheilla joined Regional One Health in 2007 after relocating to Memphis from Chicago, IL. She began her career at Regional One Health as an Administrative Assistant in the Pharmacy department. Sheilla joined the Foundation in 2012 where she now serves as a Development Associate.

Sheilla enjoys coordinating with the entire Foundation team to bring the group’s efforts together in a cohesive plan. She also serves as the administrative liaison for the Foundation’s Board of Directors and coordinates the acknowledgment and gift entry processes.

Sheilla knows first-hand how important the Regional One Health system is to our community. The life of one of her family members was saved by the outstanding care they received. By serving as a Development Associate, Sheilla can help protect and advance the life-saving work of the Regional One Health system.

Sheilla resides in Memphis and is the proud mother of a teenage daughter, Lyric.

Mary Catherine joined Regional One Health Foundation in October 2014, bringing with her almost 10 years of experience in event management and public relations.

In Mary Catherine’s previous corporate meeting and events position, she worked on such notable events as the grand opening of the new Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital; National Civil Rights Museum Freedom Awards, which has such distinguished honorees as the Dalai Lama, Al Gore and B.B. King.

Mary Catherine’s vast experience in corporate meeting and event management is instrumental in her role as Director of Events. Mary Catherine oversees and implements all the current and potential Foundation events, including the Foundation’s largest, most exciting fundraiser of the year, the annual gala.

Mary Catherine is a native Memphian. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga and is an avid runner.

Patrick’s role at Regional One Health Foundation will be instrumental in expanding our reach and ability to care for patients throughout Memphis and the Mid-South.

He will focus his expertise on our major and annual gift campaigns and will lead specific fundraising efforts for One Health and the Center for Innovation.

In his decade-long role as the AutoZone Liberty Bowl’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Patrick helped bring about the Bowl’s new records in sponsorship sales and ticket sales. He played a pivotal role in the Bowl’s shift to digital marketing and communications.

Patrick lives in Memphis with his wife, Allison, and four daughters, Lila, Adeline, Cora, and Naomi. He earned his Master’s degree in Sport and Leisure Commerce from the University of Memphis. While there, he also earned dual degrees in Marketing Management and Real Estate and was a four-year letterman on the Tiger football team.

Rachel AlkireRachel is an experienced fundraiser with a background in major giving.

Rachel began her career in development by fundraising for the College of Arts in Science at the University of Missouri. During her four years on the team, she managed a portfolio of over 100 prospects and played a pivotal role in the university’s capital campaign. In addition to her fundraising responsibilities, Rachel was instrumental in building Mizzou’s donor pipeline in St. Louis and Houston, Texas.

Rachel recently was married and moved to Memphis with her husband, Zach. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
