Regional One Health and Hollywood Primary Care were recently honored with a Better Options in Birth Award. The award, presented by statewide coalition Healthy and Free Tennessee, honors healthcare providers who are striving to offer more evidence-based and woman-centered options to expectant mothers. Honorees include those who have expanded the options available to expectant Tennesseans by providing access to certified nurse midwives (CNMs) in hospitals and birthing centers.

Regional One Health was honored with the inaugural award for expanding services provided to the community by adding certified nurse midwives to the staff. Two midwives see patients at Hollywood Primary Care, a part of Regional One Health.
