From employee health screenings and health fairs to exercise classes and the Walking Challenge, Regional Medical Center employees are focusing on health and wellness. The second annual Walking Challenge included 805 participants on 69 teams. The walkers wore pedometers and logged steps from Monday, November 11 to Friday, December 13. Challenge participants walked 178,396,048 steps, which is equivalent to 89,198 miles! The winning team, the OB Show Steppers came in first with 7,989,787 steps, beating last year’s first place team total by more than 2 million steps.
