Memphis Fire Fighters Association (MFFA) Foundation recently presented Regional One Health with a check for $25,000. The MFFA Foundation holds a golf tournament annually and donates 100 percent of the proceeds to the Firefighters Burn Center at Regional Medical Center. Thanks to support from presenting sponsor Nationwide Insurance, this year’s tournament brought in a record setting amount.

MFFA Foundation Chairman Tommy Malone said, “We’re proud to have such a great facility here in Memphis and we want to ensure that the staff has access to the training, supplies, and equipment they need to continue to provide the high level care they’ve been giving for years.”

The Firefighters Burn Center treats more than 500 patients annually, including 300 inpatient admissions. It is the only Burn Center in Tennessee to have earned verification from the American Burn Association (ABA) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
