A hospital is more than a place where people go to heal. It is a part of the community that fosters health and represents hope. From providing treatment and comfort to the sick, to welcoming new life into the world, hospitals are central to a healthy and optimistic community.
Regional One Health celebrated this vital role the employees of the health system play in this community during National Hospital Week festivities the week of May 10. The theme was “Where Miracles Happen Every Day.”
National Hospital Week celebrates hospitals and the employees who support the health of their communities through dedication and compassionate care. It also recognizes the miracles these individuals help to make happen on a day to day basis, both large and small. Regional One Health celebrates National Hospital Week as an opportunity to thank all of the dedicated individuals – physicians, nurses, therapists, engineers, food service workers, volunteers, administrators and so many more – for their contributions.
