UT Regional One Physicians is proud to introduce Barbara Menzies, MD. Dr. Menzies attended medical school and completed her fellowship in infectious diseases at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. Dr. Menzies is an assistant professor in the division of infectious diseases at University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

“I have always been fascinated with biomedical science,” Dr. Menzies shared. “Being able to bring that interest into the healthcare arena and work with patients, families, and healthcare teams in pursuit of improved health is truly an honor.” Dr. Menzies always strives to focus on her patient when she is taking care of them in addition to the medical problem set.
