Susan Cooper, Chief Integration Officer and SVP of Ambulatory Services at Regional One Health, was featured in the cover story of the annual Memphis Medical News publication, InCharge.  Copper offered insights on the challenges and opportunities in healthcare. In the article, Cooper discusses the positive changes she sees in how the industry addresses patient needs and offers examples of how the health system can meet these needs and provide a positive patient experience.

“At Regional One we’ve been on the cutting edge by flipping the traditional healthcare model and working to eliminate patient pressure points such as waiting a long time in a doctor’s office or having to visit multiple facilities for different treatments. In our multispecialty clinic people can access numerous services, including preventive care, in one location. We’re trying to walk in the shoes of the people we serve,” explains Cooper.
