Bret Perisho, senior vice president of business development and chief strategy officer at Regional One Health, has graduated from The Academy GE Fellows Program as a Finance Executive Fellow.
The Academy GE Fellows Program is a comprehensive two-year leadership development program designed for high-potential administrative, financial, nurse and physician executives. The Financial Executive Fellows program offers participants an opportunity to develop an expert network of similarly positioned executives, broaden leadership expertise, and gain knowledge of leading health system strategies. Perisho’s cohort of Fellows included seven financial executives from health systems across the country. The Fellows engagement included a combination of hands-on, peer-interactive programs and a self-selected action project.
Perisho is responsible for leading strategic business development and operational activities at Regional One Health. Perisho works with the CEO and CFO to develop, assess and implement strategies for service and program growth within the health system. Perisho joined Regional One Health in 2011.
His more than 35 years of health care experience includes finance leadership roles at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville and numerous health care consulting projects. Perisho earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting at Kansas State University. He is a certified public accountant, and his professional associations include American Institute of CPAs, Tennessee Society of CPAs and Healthcare Financial Management Association.
The Academy GE Fellows Program has seen more than 75 percent of its graduates promoted since the program’s inception in 2006. More than 50 health systems have sponsored one or more Fellows. Graduates span the health system C-suite, including titles of CEO, CAO, CFO, CCO, CMO, CNO and CHRO.
