October is Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Awareness Month, and Regional One Health is starting a new Safe to Sleep initiative to help parents prevent a tragedy. Creating Change out of Challenge: Intubation tent provides additional layer of COVID-19 protection for providers

“If this works, it’s potentially transformative:” Regional One Health chosen as trial site for promising COVID-19 treatment

Regional One Health and University of Tennessee Health Science Center are taking part in trials for a therapy aimed at preventing coronavirus symptoms from getting worse. The treatment will also be tested on close contacts of coronavirus patients to see if it can prevent illness. COVID-19 safety guidelines and visitor regulations created challenges for discharging newborns, but Regional One Health staff stepped up to get healthy babies home with their families. As health officials set up a contingency hospital to prepare for a potential surge of COVID-19 patients, Regional One Health's pharmacy department was called on to help.
