Cyrilyn Walters, MD, MPH, FACP, FAAP is the Subacute Medical Director and hospitalist at Regional One Health. Dr. Walters received her medical degree from University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, MN and her Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health from Boston University in Boston, MA. She completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

“My favorite part of being a physician is seeing the smile on a patient’s face after they start to improve from their ailments,” Dr. Walters shared. “When you know that all your effort actually paid off in some way, it makes it all worth it.”

“Patients are at their most vulnerable time when they are sick and in the hospital,” Dr. Walters said. “Patients need to know that the person taking care of them has their best interest at heart.”
