
Danielle H. Hassel, MD, FAAPMR
Danielle H. Hassel, MD, FAAPMR is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician. She earned her medical degree at University of South Alabama College of Medicine and completed residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Dr. Hassel has diverse experience in rehabilitation care and has served in leadership roles including chief physician of a spinal cord injury center, associate medical director of an acute rehabilitation hospital, and medical director of a skilled rehabilitation unit. She has led teams for successful Joint Commission and rehab accreditation surveys as well as multiple projects for the improvement of patient outcomes.
Notably, Dr. Hassel has served as president of the Memphis Medical Society (2020) and Tennessee Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is an advocate for patients and physicians by supporting organized medicine and the local community through further memberships in Tennessee Medical Association and Bluff City Medical Society.
