David L. Bernholt, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adolescent and adult sports medicine. He has expertise in treating complex problems of the knee, shoulder, hip, and elbow using arthroscopic and open surgical techniques.
Dr. Bernholt earned his medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine after earning his bachelor's degree at Case Western Reserve University. He completed a residency at Barnes Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis and a Sports Medicine fellowship at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado.
During his career, he has received numerous research awards and grants. He serves as a Consultant Reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine.
