
Fregi Vazhappully Francis, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Fregi Vazhappully Francis, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CMSRN, RN-BC is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Regional One Health’s Diggs-Kraus Sickle Cell Center.
Francis earned her Master of Science-Family Nurse Practitioner degree at University of Memphis and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mother Vannini College of Nursing, India.
Francis is certified as family nurse practitioner, advanced practice registered nurse, certified medical and surgical registered nurse (CMSRN), board certified gerontology registered nurse (RN-BC) and certified in Advanced Burn Life Support.
She has experience working in settings including pediatric cardiac intensive care, pediatric acute care, geriatric health, telemetry, stroke floor and burn and wound care. She is a Daisy award winner for extraordinary nurses. She prides herself on caring for every patient with integrity and in a respectful manner, and uses her medical knowledge and interpersonal skills to educate patients and families and develop an individualized treatment plan for patients living with sickle cell disease.
Francis is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, Tennessee Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
