James L. Guyton, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hip preservation surgery and total joint replacement.
Dr. Guyton earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School after graduating from University of Mississippi. He completed a residency at University of Iowa and a Total Joint Fellowship at Rush Presbyterian, St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago.
His areas of expertise in adult orthopaedic reconstruction include anterior hip replacement, posterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement, total knee replacement, and young adult hip preservation surgery. With more than 20 years of experience performing anterior hip surgery in the settings of hip preservation and pelvic trauma, Dr. Guyton has added direct anterior hip replacement to his skill set.
