Mark Brady, MD, MPH, MMSc, is an emergency medicine physician at Regional One Health and an assistant professor in the Emergency Medicine Department at University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
Dr. Brady obtained his medical degree from Brown Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island. He has a Master of Medical Science degree from Brown Medical School and a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard School of Public Health in Boston. Dr. Brady completed his emergency medicine residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut.
“I became a physician because I wanted to go where the need is and getting to help people every day,” Brady said. “My favorite saying is, ‘We are here to care, not judge’.”
Dr. Brady was the executive producer and writer for 24|7|365: The Evolution of Emergency Medicine, an independent documentary on the history of emergency medicine. He was also the medical writer of a one-hour CME program on migraine headaches produced by and aired on Discovery Health Channel and a writer for Discovery Education. He is a lieutenant commander with the U.S. Navy Reserve working with the Marines.
