“I was always moved by the difference I can make in someone’s life just by caring and being compassionate,” Dr. Phinehas said. “The most awesome thing of being a physician is that you could have an entirely different set of
strengths but could still be of best use for society. I love the satisfaction of helping others and a medical career was the best approach to pursue my dream.”
Dr. Phinehas’ favorite part of being an OB/GYN is witnessing a new life entering the world. “I am present to witness the miracle of life every time a baby takes his or her first breath,” Dr. Phinehas shared. “My patient care philosophy is to provide all patients with personal care that is tailored to their individual needs and goals by practicing the latest state-of-art and up-to-date medical information.”
Dr. Phinehas is the recipient of The Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Resident Award by UTHSC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Residency Program Award for Excellence in Obstetrics by the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
