Sara Cross, MD is a physician at Regional One Health and an assistant professor in the department of Internal Medicine at University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Cross completed her fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Washington University in Saint Louis, MO and her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO.

“I became a physician because I love the thought of being able to help people,” Dr. Cross shared. “I really love all aspects of it, but my favorite parts are the wonderful and long-lasting relationships I develop with my patients and being able to work with and teach medical students and residents.”

Dr. Cross is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, American Medical Association, and Infectious Diseases Society of America. Dr. Cross is also a member of the Infection Prevention Committee and Antibiotic Stewardship Committee at Regional One Health.
