Syed Hasan Raza, MD, Rheumatologist, is hopeful about the future of autoimmune diseases. "This in turn translates into preventions of disability, better quality of life, and patients being productive members of society.

As an associate professor in the Department of Rheumatology at University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, he is actively involved in clinical research toward progress in rheumatology and training residents and fellows. His special interests are lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma and spondyloarthropathies.
