Trauma Surgery services at Regional One Health

Travis P. Webb, MD, MHPE, FACS is the Medical Director of the Firefighters Burn Center at Regional One Health. As a trauma surgeon, he is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care.

Dr. Webb earned his medical degree at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield and a Master of Health Professions Education at University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed his residency in general surgery and his fellowship in surgical critical care at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Dr. Webb has over 20 years of experience and has been recognized throughout his career with awards for excellence in clinical care, education, and research.

He is the author of numerous book chapters and his research has been published in journals including the Journal of Trauma Acute Care Surgery, Journal of Surgical Education, American Journal of Surgery and Journal of the American College of Surgeons.

He is an invited reviewer for American Journal of Surgery, Journal of Surgical Research and Surgery, and he serves on the editorial board of Journal of Graduate Medical Education and Geriatric Fast Facts. He is a frequent presenter and lecturer at professional conferences across the country.

Dr. Webb is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Society of Critical Care Medicine, Association for Academic Surgery, American Association for the Surgery of Trauma, American Hernia Society, and Society of University Surgeons.
