Tyler J. Brolin, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of shoulder and elbow disorders. This includes arthroscopic and open management of all aspects of shoulder and elbow pathology including: arthritis, rotator cuff tears, instability, fractures, biceps tendon ruptures, AC joint injuries, frozen shoulder, as well as shoulder and elbow athletic injuries.
Dr. Brolin earned his medical degree at University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences and his bachelor's degree from Concordia College. He completed a residency at University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic and a Shoulder and Elbow fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital – Rothman Institute.
He serves as a Consultant Reviewer for Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and as Shoulder and Elbow Section Editor for Orthopedic Clinics of North America. He has received numerous awards for his research.
Dr. Brolin is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, Mid-America Orthopaedic Association, Tennessee Orthopaedic Society, American Orthopaedic Association Emerging Leaders Program, Phoenix Society, and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society.
