William J. Weller, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in disorders and injuries of the hand, wrist, and elbow.
This includes surgery for athletic/sports injures, fractures, chronic compressive neuropathies, nerve lacerations, arthritis, tendon lacerations, tendinopathies as well as reconstructive procedures. He has additional certification in microvascular surgery of the hand and wrist.
Dr. Weller earned his medical degree at Rush University Medical School after graduating summa cum laude from Illinois College. He completed his residency at Campbell Clinic-University of Tennessee Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and his fellowship at The Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center.
He serves as Consultant Reviewer for The Journal of Hand Surgery and Current Orthopaedic Practice.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Orthopaedic Association Emerging Leaders, Tennessee Orthopaedic Society, and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society.
